It is always so hard to choose a gift for your girlfriend, or at least it is for me! I never know what to buy her. She likes jewellery, but I always find it so hard to choose jewellery that I normally just buy her a voucher to spend at one of the local jewellery stores. Her birthday was last month, and this year I was determined not to have to buy her a voucher again! I know that she doesn’t mind, because at least she is going to end up with something that she likes, but it is hardly the romantic thing in the world, handing someone an envelope on their birthday! I might as well just give her a wad of cash!
This year I was determined, so I decided that I would be better served by searching the internet for something that she would like. I had been with her for a few years, and at last I thought that I was starting to get a feel for the sort of things she liked. I eventually came across a site which seemed to have plenty of things that looked like she would like them, and I particularly liked theBirthstone earrings that they were advertising. They weren’t expensive, but they looked it. I knew that she would love them, and since they were all made out of pure gold, with a lovely birth or gem stone in the centre, I knew that I was buying her something truly special.
I ordered her a lovely pair of earrings, and on the day, I slipped them into an envelope, that looked like the normal voucher envelope! I think she suspected a voucher, and when she opened the envelope, I could see the surprise in her eyes! She was truly thrilled that I had found her something myself.
